Located at 1147 Elms Rd, Flint, MI 48532, Kasi Temple Kitchen operates as an indian restaurant serving Flint in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Flint, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Michigan run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

I was expecting the food to be good, usually temples prepare the best food. I had a dosa and a cup of tea. For 2 dollars you can make really good tea; I could taste the water in the tea there. Being a temple canteen I was hoping the chutney and sambhar would be atleast close to saravana bhavan or A2B. the chutney was about 25% coconut and the rest ground gram. For a premium price you charge, you can teach your cooks what an authentic coconut chutney tastes like ? I would imagine the temple is the best reflection of godliness. Yes youβre making money, but the food is a tragedy. Go visit the New York Hindu temple canteen for starters. Why mediocrity?

Kind, welcoming, and informative kitchen located adjacent to the Kasi Temple. We were the only people present in the dining room. Since the location is a temple, there are vegetarian options only.

Great kitchen associated with the temple. Food is very tasty and prices are so reasonable. Idli, crispy medu vada, sambhar, chutney and Dosa never miss to cherish your taste. The chef in the kitchen is very respectful and dignified to the visitors. After the divine blessings of Lord Vishwanatha (Shiva) one should never miss to savor this prasada of this temple. Do not miss the COCONUT π₯₯ burfi (sweet)when it's listed on the menu. Om Namaha Shivaya!
